This piece is part of the molten series where I use multiple layers of glaze to produce the beautiful colourful effect. For me, the multiple layers of glaze reflects on our society in Singapore which is a melting pot of people with different backgrounds and ethnicity, different preferences and persuasions, all blending together living in harmony, each with their unique culture and traditions, with divers views and creative ideas.
The title of this piece describe the amazing glaze formation inside the bowl which resembles the galaxy.
